I have always loved the natural beauty of a rugged, mature, masculine man!  When I first started to create my art, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to portray these types of men on canvas. I always noticed the masculine nature of husky men since I was a child, then in grade school, and all through my teen years.

I used to quietly gaze at teachers, construction workers and everyday men on the streets. I saw unique beauty in their brawny masculinity.  At about 10 years old I drew men from my parents sex magazines.  Then I would throw them away, as not to get caught.

From the first time I picked up a paintbrush many years later in my 20s, all I wanted to do was recreate those emotions and lines that moved on the body of an experienced and burly man.  I was drawn to it very strongly and I still have those feelings today.

As my artistic skills grew, I eventually reached a skill level where others took note of what I was creating.  I am still continually learning more about color and composition and always try to get better with each painting.

Enjoy the Art Gallery and check out In Collections to see many men!...BIG HUGS!

My Journey

I have been creating masculine art for over 3 decades.  I currently live and operate my home studio in the Hill Country on the outskirts of Austin, Texas.

I began creating early in life as a self taught artist in southern Louisiana where I was born and raised.  In 1983, I moved to Los Angeles, discovered art stores for the first time and began taking painting seriously.   In 2001 I headed to Miami, Florida with my partner, (now husband) where I had the opportunity to get an art degree at Miami- Dade College and began doing art full-time.

I feel blessed that over the last 15 years or so, I have developed a growing clientele. I am humbled that my paintings to private collectors have been shipped around the world.  My original artworks have found homes in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, England, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, United States and Venezuela.

I'm grateful to all the people whom I have connected with over the years...  Thank you all so much for supporting my art!

Kathy Griffin Donation

I painted a portrait of Kathy Griffin, the Emmy and Grammy Award winning Comedian and star of My Life on the D-List.  Kathy's management accepted the painting for her, Kathy signed the artwork on the front with "I have a big face" and she donated the painting to an Aids Charity for auction.  The auction was at a big Hollywood event in remembrance of Doug Blasdell from the hit TV show WorkoutA huge Kathy Griffin fan named Derek, was the recipient of the painting and contacted me with a big "Thank You!"  I was so happy that my art was able to bring some money for a wonderful cause.
